Frank Cavitt & The Honky-Tonk Doctors

Frank Cavitt is an Austin honky-tonk piano man and bandleader whose music is built for dance floors—classic country swing, two-step tempos, and the kind of barroom storytelling that keeps Donn's Depot and similar rooms full. Promoters and dance communities know him as a reliable night out: piano-driven country with a live band that prioritizes feel over flash.

With The Honky-Tonk Doctors, Cavitt delivers the full package: shuffles, waltzes, and country standards and originals that work whether you're taking a beginner two-step lesson or staying late for the last set. His reputation as a working Austin musician and storyteller shows up in long-running residencies and regular calendar slots around town.

If you're looking for real dance-hall energy—not a rock-country hybrid—Frank Cavitt & The Honky-Tonk Doctors are the traditional side of the Austin country spectrum.
