Foster the People is the Los Angeles indie-pop band founded 2009 by Mark Foster—breakthrough Torches (2011) carried “Pumped Up Kicks,” “Helena Beat,” and “Don’t Stop (Color on the Walls)” into global rotation, followed by Supermodel (2014), Sacred Hearts Club (2017, Columbia), and later cycles including Paradise State of Mind / Good Mourning Sunshine–era touring. Soul, dance, and electronic colors sit under signature synth-indie hooks; longtime members Isom Innis and Sean Cimino joined the official lineup around Sacred Hearts Club.
