About

Fabio Frizzi (born July 2, 1951, Bologna, Italy) is an Italian film composer, orchestrator, and conductor with more than a hundred cinema and television scores—best known for his eerie, synth-and-orchestra horror soundtracks, especially collaborations with director Lucio Fulci. Drawing on Baroque and Bach as much as Nino Rota, Carlo Rustichelli, and Ennio Morricone, he built a career after witnessing Sergio Leone–era recording sessions and made classical guitar a lifelong companion instrument.

Iconic cues for Zombi 2 (Zombie), The Beyond, City of the Living Dead, and other Italian horror classics later reached new generations via Kill Bill and cult revival circuits. Live, Frizzi 2 Fulci concert tours present his celebrated themes as full-band shows with immersive visuals—not always film screenings—across North America and Europe. Expect gothic electronic-rock atmospheres and Fulci-era themes when Maestro Fabio Frizzi hits the concert stage.
