Extreme Heat

Extreme Heat is Austin’s premiere funk and soul institution—formed 1977 from Steam Heat, fifty-plus years on Armadillo and Liberty Lunch stages—whose Fifty anniversary album, All the Way Gone, and eight-piece heat put Texas funk fire on One-2-One Bar and statewide dancefloors with Bruce Spelman, Neil Pederson, Mike Barnes and company. @extremeheataustin and extremeheataustin.com track dates for rooms that want real funk craft, not soft soft-background karaoke wallpaper. Extreme heat energy, still Extreme Heat every single night on the road and stage around Austin and beyond.

Expect funk-soul heat when Extreme Heat hits the stage—Fifty fire and Austin punch, not a random open-mic Heat karaoke.
