Eric Hisaw

Eric Hisaw is a Las Cruces, New Mexico–born, Austin-based singer-guitarist whose Eric Hisaw Band mixes Stonesy rockers, Gulf Coast soul, and Bakersfield twang—an Americana spin on Rolling Stones spirit with Joe Ely–style Texas road grit. Lineups have featured players such as Ron McRae (bass) and Shawn Peters (drums); small Fender amps, tremolo, Silvertone and Telecaster guitars power a rough-and-tumble live set. Albums include Street Lamp (Austin Chronicle 4-star praise) and Can’t Stop Time on Flak Records (2022), plus writer credits for Lone Star Music Magazine.
