David Lewis

David Lewis is a Texas country singer-songwriter with a straight-ahead sound rooted in rodeo culture, ranch life and traditional country storytelling. His music leans toward the Texas/Red Dirt side of country, favoring fiddle-and-guitar sensibilities over slick Nashville pop production.

Lewis brings an authentic cowboy presence to his songs—less costume, more lived-in Western attitude. His material revolves around the familiar country terrain of relationships, small-town life, hard work and nights spent chasing a good time, delivered with an easygoing vocal style that fits naturally alongside the younger generation of independent Texas artists.

He’s part of a Texas scene that has increasingly found audiences without depending on mainstream country radio, building listeners through live shows, streaming and word of mouth. The result is contemporary country with its boots still planted firmly in Texas.
