Dana and Alden

Dana and Alden are the Eugene, Oregon brother duo—saxophonist Dana McWayne and drummer Alden McWayne—whose Concord Jazz Speedo / Spreedo heat and Papa’s Boat album energy put genre-agnostic jazz-indie on club and theater stages including Antone’s Austin. Rooted in jazz jams, pulling indie, pop, rap, and funk with TikTok-fueled word of mouth; dana-alden.com and @dana_and_alden track tour and new music for rooms that want real jazz craft, not soft soft-jazz wallpaper. Brothers in the pocket, still swinging every single night on the road and stage.

Expect jazz-meets-indie fire when Dana and Alden hit the stage—Eugene brother chemistry, not a random open-mic Dana karaoke.
