Craig Conant
About
Craig Conant is a Los Angeles stand-up comedian and podcaster whose comedy turns addiction, sobriety, family dysfunction and spectacularly bad decisions into loose, unpredictable storytelling.
Raised in Southern California by a Mexican mother and white father, Conant developed a blunt, self-deprecating style built around the chaos of his working-class upbringing and the trouble he found before getting sober.
Conant gained wider attention after being selected as a New Face at Montreal’s Just for Laughs comedy festival. He has also appeared on MTV’s Next and Greatest Party Story Ever Told, performed at major comedy clubs across the country and built a national audience through stand-up clips and social media.
His viral story about being fired from Trader Joe’s after farting on a manager captures the tone of his comedy—ridiculous, embarrassing and delivered with complete commitment.
He is also the host of Community Service with Craig Conant, a long-running podcast centered on mistakes, recovery and the strange experiences that can push people to change their lives.
Onstage, Conant combines an offbeat physical presence with surprisingly thoughtful observations, finding humor in the parts of life most people would rather forget.
