Conan

Conan is the Liverpool doom and sludge metal trio known for “caveman battle doom”—heavily distorted, downtuned riffs that feel like Herculean war drums more than classic Sabbath swing. Formed in 2006 (initially a duo, later a three-piece), guitarist-vocalist Jon Davis and company built a catalog of crushing full-lengths and Brutal Assault–scale European festival runs without softening the glacial weight or the band’s war-march identity. Napalm Records eras, splits, and long-haul underground tours put them among the heaviest contemporary UK doom exports; hailconan.com frames the sound as architecture of volume rather than stoner-party groove. Live, the set is slow violence—low-end crush, minimal ornament, maximum density.

hailconan.com and @hailconan post tour dates. Expect downtuned doom sludge and battle-doom riff stacks when Conan hits the stage—Liverpool metal lifers, not a Conan O’Brien comedy night or a stoner-jam hangout.
