Clint Manning
About
Clint Manning is an Austin singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who works the fertile middle ground between alternative rock, soul, pop and introspective roots music. He started out studying piano, trumpet and drums before eventually locking onto guitar and vocals, a broad musical foundation that still shows up in the layered, genre-fluid feel of his records.
Manning’s catalog traces a steady creative evolution: the Enough EP arrived in 2016, followed by the full-length Awake and Restless in 2017, the Better Late Than Never EP in 2021 and Still Asleep in 2024. The title song from Enough later landed in an episode of the CW series Walker, while Still Asleep was recorded at Austin’s Estuary Recording.
His songs tend to circle personal uncertainty, persistence and the uneasy business of figuring yourself out, delivered through a soulful voice and melodies that stay accessible without feeling overly polished. He performs both solo and with a full band, moving easily between intimate acoustic rooms and louder Austin stages. Manning is also an experienced producer who has worked with more than 20 artists, giving him a wider creative footprint than his own releases alone suggest.
