Chris Smothers

Chris Smothers is a country music singer-songwriter and performer from Lago Vista and the greater Austin area—also connected to Nashville stages—whose San Jac Saloon calendar history puts him among the venue's higher-frequency Sixth Street names. His passions run to songwriting, recording, live performance, and motocross, and his catalog includes original country songs such as Burn Up This Town and Just Give In that sit in contemporary Texas and Nashville country lanes.

Smothers has built a working circuit across Austin-area rooms and radio-friendly Texas country playlists, with KFAN-FM airplay and a growing original catalog of more than a hundred songs written. Venue bookings at San Jac reflect the same working-musician profile as other batch artists: multi-hour country sets for happy-hour and evening crowds who want melodic originals and radio country energy without a giant production package.

On HeyAustin, Chris Smothers is cataloged so San Jac and Texas circuit listings can match by name and inherit a full artist profile—bio, video, and imagery—when the public calendar only prints the act name and a start time.
