Chad Tracey

Chad Tracey is a true Austin original whose musical journey spans farmhouses in Wisconsin to the vibrant stages of the Live Music Capital. Starting on piano as a kid and rocking out to Metallica and Guns N’ Roses in his teens. He later immersed himself in jazz in Oakland and honed his craft in Philadelphia before planting roots in Austin in 2002. A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher. "Chad Tracy channels life’s twists into heartfelt originals that blend traditional twang with Tex-Mex flavors and shuffling rhythms." Expect an intimate, soul-stirring set where stories of love, borders, and rainy nights come alive through his guitar and voice. Whether crooning a tender ballad or kicking up a rambunctious groove. Chad delivers the authentic, no-frills Austin experience that keeps locals and visitors coming back for more. It’s the perfect happy-hour soundtrack—raw, real, and ridiculously fun.
