Casey Shaw

Casey Shaw is an Austin-based singer-songwriter and bandleader—University of Oklahoma alum—whose residency-level presence on Sixth Street includes frequent San Jac Saloon bookings, open mic hosting, and full-band nights that keep the room loud and familiar. Known for the tongue-in-cheek mantra bring your mom, Shaw balances original country material with high-energy live sets that have also hit the Blind Pig and other Austin rooms, plus national-leaning one-offs captured on video.

His calendar footprint at San Jac is among the venue's denser recent runs: early sets, late band shows, and community open-mic nights that make him part of the room's weekly rhythm rather than a one-off walk-through. Performances on local TV and social clips show a front-person with cowboy-hat stage presence, glasses, and a songwriter catalog that sits comfortably between modern country radio and Texas bar craft.

HeyAustin catalogs Casey Shaw so San Jac listings can match cleanly and surface a full profile—bio, video, SEO, and imagery—when the Google Calendar only prints the act name.
