Boss Street Brass Band

Boss Street Brass Band is the Austin seven-piece New Orleans–style funk brass ensemble—named for founder Ormide J. Armstrong’s street, mostly Reagan High School alums since 2011—whose second-line roots meet R&B, soul, funk, classic rock, and pop covers in a dance-floor twist on Monks Jazz, Elephant Room, and festival stages. Bandcamp and DO512 track the unforgettable brass-party heat for rooms that want real jazz-funk craft, not soft soft-background brass wallpaper. Passion, celebration, continuous partying, still Boss Street every single night on the road and stage around Austin.

Expect brass-funk heat when Boss Street Brass Band hits the stage—NOLA-ATX fire, not a random open-mic Boss karaoke.
