Bobby Christina's Blues Caravan

Bobby Christina’s Blues Caravan is the touring tribute vehicle honoring Matt “Guitar” Murphy—the legendary Blues Brothers / Howlin’ Wolf–era guitarist whose fire shaped Chicago and stage-show blues for generations. Nola Blue album True Blues Brother: The Legacy of Matt “Guitar” Murphy (2024) gathers caravan players around Murphy’s late-career material and classic book; Blues Blast and festival circuits treat it as living legacy rather than costume karaoke. Austin Antone’s and multi-city bills present the Caravan as a night of Murphy’s range—soul, shuffle, and guitar-hero vocabulary—orchestrated by Christina with special guests who keep the True Blues Brother flame loud.

Expect Murphy-catalog blues heat when Bobby Christina’s Blues Caravan hits the stage—tribute with pedigree, not a random open-jam cover night.
