Bit Brigade

Bit Brigade is a rock band that performs full NES/SNES video-game soundtracks live in sync with an on-stage speedrunner—math-rock precision meets chiptune nostalgia. Born from Athens, Georgia math-rock circles (members of Cinemechanica and We Versus The Shark teamed with speedrunner Noah), the project elevates classic game scores into full-band rock arrangements while the gamer clears Mega Man II, Castlevania, Tetris, and other titles in real time on stage.

Earlier incarnations used game-specific monikers (e.g. MEGABAND for Mega Man, CONTRABAND for Contra) before the Bit Brigade brand stuck. The listed bill is a multi-game night: rock covers of entire OSTs as the speedrun unfolds—equal parts concert and competitive spectacle. Expect progressive-rock energy, 8-bit melodies, and live speedrun drama when Bit Brigade hits the club.
