Bikini Trill

Bikini Trill is a Los Angeles–based surf-pop trio of vocalist Lauren “LJ” Johnson, guitarist Tony Barker Stern, and bassist Kourosh “Roach” Poursalehi—Texas-rooted players who first connected through Austin and Texas State (San Marcos) before reconvening in L.A. Their sound blends indie rock, hip-hop cadence, and reggae-tinged beach energy; they produce, mix, and master in-house at K-Town Studios while LJ writes lyrics and shaped early DIY artwork.

After a 2017 SXSW live debut, they stacked national support runs with New Politics, Reel Big Fish, 311, Dirty Heads, The Interrupters, and Sublime with Rome—including amphitheater and Red Rocks dates. Releases include Wassup, We Good? (2018), Nah, Pull Over (2019; “Lost Boy” with Dirty Heads’ Jared Watson), Hello, Welcome! (2022), and a self-titled debut album (2025, Ineffable).
