BENISE

Benise is an Emmy Award-winning guitarist and theatrical performer known as “The Prince of Spanish Guitar.” His music blends flamenco-inspired guitar with rock, salsa, samba, tango, jazz and rhythms gathered from around the world.

Although his concerts carry the color and romance of Spain, Benise was raised in Nebraska and originally moved to Los Angeles hoping to become a rock musician.

After discovering the sound of Spanish guitar, he traded his electric guitar for a nylon-string instrument and began developing the dramatic style that would define his career.

Benise’s live shows are much more than traditional guitar recitals. He performs alongside a full band and elaborately choreographed dancers, creating a colorful production filled with fast guitar work, changing costumes and international musical influences.

The result is a polished, high-energy concert that brings together the fire of flamenco, the power of rock and the spectacle of a theatrical stage show.
