Ben Guajardo

Ben "Mr. Benny" Guajardo is a Bandera-rooted touring and studio musician who built Southtown Records and now fronts Austin-based The Dirty Pretties with brother Luis Guajardo and collaborator Brian Carlisle. After years across Texas and Southern California—and a Los Angeles chapter—he relocated back to Texas, then Austin, with a near-constant touring schedule of Texas blues, classic country, and high-energy rock and roll.

San Jac Saloon calendars list both Ben Guajardo and Ben Guajardo Band among frequent historical bookings—solo and band formats that fit Sixth Street multi-hour country and roots sets. Southtown Records has released two Dirty Pretties albums with a third slated, and live cuts like Broken Window Serenade show the roadhouse blend that carries from Bandera roots to Austin stages.

On HeyAustin, Ben Guajardo is cataloged so San Jac, Dirty Pretties, and Southtown-related listings can match by name or band alias and inherit a complete artist profile—bio, video, and imagery.
