Ben Bankas

Ben Bankas is a Toronto-born stand-up comedian now based in Austin, Texas, where he has become a regular presence at the Comedy Mothership.

His comedy is deliberately unfiltered, mixing political satire, current events, cultural commentary and crowd work with a confrontational, anything-goes delivery.

Bankas has toured throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, building a large online following through viral stand-up clips, full-length comedy specials and the Bankas Podcast.

He has shared stages with comedians including Tony Hinchcliffe, Andrew Schulz, Theo Von and Mark Normand.

His material regularly pushes into controversial territory, making him especially popular with audiences drawn to politically incorrect, anti-censorship comedy.
