Bayou Dawgs

Bayou Dawgs dig into the sweet spot where classic rock meets the blues, serving up a road-tested mix of ’60s and ’70s rock, blues and pop. The Austin-area band leans into the music that made barroom rock & roll fun in the first place—guitars up front, familiar grooves and songs built for a Saturday night rather than a museum.

Regulars on the Lake Travis live-music circuit, the Dawgs have become a familiar sight at Hill Country haunts like Poodie's and Point Venture. Expect a set rooted in classic-rock swagger, bluesy guitar work and plenty of tunes you probably know before the first chorus hits.
