BANE

BANE is the Worcester, Massachusetts hardcore institution begun in 1995 as a Converge-adjacent side project of Aaron Dalbec and Damon Bellorado, with Aaron Bedard soon defining the anthem-shout frontman role. Equal Vision era landmarks include Holding This Moment, It All Comes Down to This, Give Blood (still a scene blood-drive anthem), and final studio album Don't Wait Up (2014) before hiatus and later reunion-era bills. Known for unity-and-tolerance messaging inside Boston-area hardcore—not fashion-scene cosplay—BANE packs rooms with circle-pit singalongs and melodic hardcore hooks that influenced a generation of East Coast bands. Post-2016 reunions and 2020s tour packages with peers keep the catalog live for kids who only knew the records and lifers who were there for Free to Think, Free to Be.

@banecentral posts dates. Expect melodic hardcore singalongs when BANE hits the stage—Worcester EVR legends, not the Batman villain or a metalcore brand-new band of the same spelling.
