About
Band of Horses is the American indie rock project of singer-songwriter Ben Bridwell—formed in Seattle in 2004 after Carissa’s Wierd, later based around Charleston, South Carolina. Sub Pop debut Everything All the Time (2006) launched reverb-soaked anthem The Funeral into film, TV, and ad ubiquity; Cease to Begin (No One’s Gonna Love You) and Grammy-nominated Infinite Arms deepened woodsy Southern indie with soaring harmonies and arena-ready choruses. Lineups shifted around Bridwell and longtime drummer Creighton Barrett while Mirage Rock, Why Are You OK, and later cycles kept the galloping guitars and Bridwell’s high, reverb-heavy voice packing theaters and festivals.
bandofhorses.com tracks tour. Expect indie-rock grandeur and The Funeral–scale sing-alongs when Band of Horses hits the stage—Bridwell’s lifers, not a country-western horse-show revue.
