BAKER's DOZEN led by Freddie Mendoza

BAKER's DOZEN led by Freddie Mendoza is the large-ensemble project of Austin’s top-call trombonist—San Antonio native, scene fixture since 1987, Clarksville poll Best Trombone and Best Arranger, Getzen clinician—whose Masters of the Trombone books, Monk’s Jazz Quintet tapings, and hard-swinging charts put brass heat on Elephant Room–caliber bills and big-band rooms. Freddie Mendoza calendars track the Dozen for rooms that want real jazz craft, not soft soft-smooth wallpaper. Top-call trombone energy, still Mendoza every single night on the road and stage around Austin.

Expect big-band jazz heat when BAKER's DOZEN led by Freddie Mendoza hits the stage—brass fire, not a random open-mic Baker karaoke.
