BAGWELL

BAGWELL on Texas calendars is Bri Bagwell—the New Braunfels–based Texas country star named Texas Female Artist of the Decade and a nine-time Female Vocalist of the Year. After college at the University of Texas in Austin (where she taught herself guitar and landed early gigs at Mother Egan’s), she took a Sony/ATV publishing deal that briefly put her in Nashville while she flew home weekly to keep the band working, then built a durable independent career on Texas Country Radio and the road.

She has stacked more than a dozen Texas Country Radio No. 1 singles, a run of acclaimed albums, and a hundred-plus-show touring year, while hosting the hit podcast Only Vans and serving as an unofficial ambassador for New Braunfels. Live, she’s known as one of Texas music’s most electric country performers—traditional roots with rock energy—and a regular at rooms like White Horse Honky Tonk and outdoor festivals across the Hill Country and Central Texas.

Expect real Texas country with songwriting punch and high-energy live shows when BAGWELL / Bri Bagwell hits Austin and statewide dates.
