B Side Quartet

B Side Quartet is the Austin hard-bop outfit formed by drummer Kevin Witt—trio to quintet formats bringing fresh interpretations of Coltrane, Monk, Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, Miles, and deep-cut history with storytelling always true to jazz. Roughly 80% jazz and 20% R&B for weddings, corporates, and club heat; @bside.atx tracks Monks Jazz Club, Elephant Room, Cactus Cafe, and Central Market sets for rooms that want real jazz craft, not soft soft-smooth wallpaper. Expect the standards you don’t expect, still B-side every single night on the road and stage around Austin.

Expect hard-bop heat when B Side Quartet hits the stage—ATX jazz fire, not a random open-mic B-Side karaoke.
