Austin Gilliam

Austin Gilliam is a Kingsville-raised, New Braunfels–Austin Americana rock guitarist and songwriter known for blurring country and rock into a personalized Texas style—6'5" stage presence, mountain-man beard, edgy baritone, and beefy guitar lines. After years as a ubiquitous sideman he fronted his own band across the Lone Star scene, releasing critically noted work including the Faded album and singles Back-Lit and Below the Light, with KSAT SA Live and Live In The Living Room USA sessions documenting originals like Never Gonna Go and Strawberry Lemonade.

San Jac Saloon calendars list Austin Gilliam and the Well Fed Texans among historical multi-hour Sixth Street names. Persistence is a recurring theme in his press bio—from childhood 12-string infatuation with Slash solos to commanding dance-floor hooks that keep Texas rooms moving.

On HeyAustin, Austin Gilliam is cataloged so San Jac and Texas Americana listings can match by name or band alias and inherit a complete artist profile—bio, video, and imagery.
