Andrew Duhon

Andrew Duhon is a New Orleans songwriter whose three-minute stories earn John Prine and Jim Croce comparisons—weighted voice, blues-adjacent melancholy, and folk craft built for long drives. The Moorings (2014) brought a Grammy nomination for engineering and put his catalog on the national radar; later records and relentless touring kept the work on the road rather than on a shelf.

He writes like someone who listens first: river towns, hard luck, and small mercies rhymed without cartoon grit. Live, the trio setup leaves room for upright bass and quiet rooms that still clap between verses. Expect Americana patience, folk structure, and a blues-stained delivery that makes every chorus feel earned.
