Andrea Magee

Andrea Magee is a Belfast-born, Austin-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends Celtic soul, Americana, folk and contemporary roots music.

She moved to the United States in 2014 and has since become a familiar presence in Austin’s live music community, known for a powerful voice, openhearted songwriting and energetic performances.

Magee often incorporates the bodhrán, a traditional Irish frame drum, into her shows, giving her music a rhythmic Celtic character that stands apart from the usual Texas singer-songwriter sound.

Her songs balance intimate storytelling with bright melodies, soulful vocals and a strong sense of connection with the audience.

Beyond performing, Magee founded Music Helps ATX and the She Rises Festival, projects centered on community, collaboration and supporting musicians.

Whether she is playing solo or with a full band, her shows carry plenty of warmth, personality and Irish spirit.
