Anders Drerup

Anders Drerup has become one of Austin's most versatile and respected performers, bringing a truly international musical résumé to the city's stages. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Drerup spent years touring across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas, performing everything from rock and Americana to Cuban music before making Austin his home. Local audiences first got to know him nationally during Season 18 of NBC's The Voice, where his blind audition earned him a spot on Nick Jonas' team, but around Austin he's better known as a powerhouse vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist capable of moving effortlessly between blues, country, soul, classic rock, R&B, and Americana.

Whether leading his own band at legendary venues like Antone's, the Continental Club, Saxon Pub, and ACL Live or performing intimate acoustic shows around Central Texas, Drerup brings a rare combination of world-class musicianship and easygoing stage charisma. His original music blends thoughtful songwriting with soulful melodies and roots-inspired grooves, while his live performances are equally comfortable delivering heartfelt originals or crowd-pleasing classics. Beyond the stage, he and his wife also operate a music production and entertainment company, reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit that's helped make him a fixture of Austin's live music community. For fans looking for polished musicianship, dynamic vocals, and an artist whose influences span the globe while remaining firmly rooted in Austin, Anders Drerup consistently delivers one of the city's most engaging live shows.
