Addam Chavarria

Addam Chavarria is an Austin-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist whose music blends folk-rock, soul, blues and emotionally direct pop songwriting. Originally from Idaho, he taught himself piano as a child, later picked up guitar, joined choir and began busking around downtown Boise. After years of performing and developing his sound, he relocated to Austin to pursue music full time.

Chavarria’s songs lean heavily on personal experience, pairing expressive vocals with melodic guitar work and arrangements that can move from intimate acoustic passages to a fuller, groove-driven band sound. His catalog includes the 2013 EP Chasing Stars, the single “Diamond for Scum” and the 2020 album Right Now. Songs such as “Watch the World Burn,” “Dream You Away” and “1:00 AM” show a writer comfortable moving between heartbreak, reflection and darker emotional themes.

In Austin, Chavarria performs both solo and with his band, The Outta Body Walkers. His live sets highlight his versatility as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, balancing original songs with a loose, audience-focused performance style shaped by years of steady gigging. He has also collaborated with other Texas artists and continues to release and perform music rooted in honest songwriting rather than a single narrowly defined genre.
